Bachelorette Party Food and Drink Essentials: Fridge Stocking Made Easy

Stock your bachelorette party fridge hassle-free! From drinks to snacks, get the ultimate essentials list for your Scottsdale celebration.

You’re headed to Scottsdale for your bachelorette party, and don’t want to waste your time at the grocery store, then our ‘Kitchen Stocking’ service means we take care of it for you! But what should you order for your bachelorette fridge stock? Here’s our list of the main items to cover all of your needs!

The Bevvies

High Noon, Ranch Water or other hard slim canned seltzers: usually a couple of cases does the trick;

Liquor such as tequila, vodka, rum and some mixers such as juice, Gatorade, and sodas to get your party on a roll. You may want to order some garnishes too, such as limes, rimming salt and tajin;

Bottles of wine or bubbles, for the perfect dinner accompaniment. If you’ve booked a private chef experience then have a chat with them for ideas of perfect wines to pair with your meal;

Milk: a selection of regular, almond and oat milk for your morning coffee or tea fix;

Water, water and more water! It gets pretty toasty here in Scottsdale and you’ll want to make sure you stay properly hydrated, so make sure to order plenty of water for your whole crew, particularly if you’re headed for any outdoor activities.

Bachelorette Party Breakfast

Bagels and cream cheese: a couple of different flavor bagels to accommodate both the savory and sweet toothed girls;

A selection of yogurts;

Eggs and bacon for a more substantial breakfast.

The Munchies

Fruit and cheese trays: because sometimes you want the healthy options;

Chips and dip (salsas, guac, hummus): perfect for snacking, and making sure you’re not drinking on an empty tummy;

Mini frozen pizzas or hot pockets: for quick late night snacks after a night of partying;

Popcorn and candy: because why the heck not?!

To Grocery Shop or to Kitchen Stock?

This is a question we are asked all the time. Depends on a few factors. The first is time, do you have the time to grocery shop? Generally most of the party gets in town some time in the afternoon, you then have the grand unveiling of the bachelorette party theme! Generally after this your party is getting ready to go out on their first night, so time is of the essence.

The second factor is budget. Generally, it’s best for the party to equally put money in for groceries but there are always special circumstances. Our Kitchen Stocking service is a flat $125—or $150 if you didn’t book a bachelorette package with us. We’ll handle the shopping and stock your fridge before you arrive, so you can focus on celebrating. Unlike other companies that charge a flat fee plus a percentage of your grocery bill, we keep things simple with one straightforward rate—no surprises! We at Brides and Baches do not feel the need to add an additional bill on top of everything you have already paid so our flat fee is just that and noting more!

The third factor is maybe you or those in your party really like grocery shopping! Well if this is the case then we salute you and please read on for our tips on where to shop!

Where to shop for groceries?

So you’ve decided to do the grocery shopping yourself and aren’t familiar with the grocery stores in Scottsdale? No problem! Here’s a quick breakdown of the best local grocery stores to help you stock up.

Costco, we all know and love Costco for big shops especially if you’re shopping for a bachelorette party or other celebration. Just note it’s just outside of Scottsdale so please plan your trip accordingly with an Uber or Lyft if you aren’t renting a car.

Frys, our personal favorite. Their cheese selection is better than the other grocery stores  and they have almost everything you could want. If you get a chance check out the Frys Signature Store,  with a wine bar (yes, wine bar!) and the biggest cheese selection for any cheese board you can imagine.

Safeway, they have a good selection of everything and are found all over the valley. Meat and drink selections are great and found just outside of Old Town Scottsdale.

Albertsons: With a location in Old Town Scottsdale it’s hard not to go with Albertsons. Their selections can lack at times but their deals and location make this a good choice as well.

The Final Roundup

Now that you’ve got your grocery plan and essentials list sorted, it’s time to finalize the details with your bride tribe. Start by sharing the anticipated budget with the crew, ideally about four months before the bachelorette party. This gives everyone enough time to plan their finances and confirm their attendance.

Set a firm RSVP deadline and let everyone know that after this date, any cancellations will still require them to cover their share of the costs. This helps avoid last-minute surprises and ensures the budget stays on track.

If you’re heading to Scottsdale, then our Brides and Baches’ Fairy Bachmother is here to take the hard work out of the equation for you with our fabulous concierge services. The most important thing is making some magical memories for the bride with her crew, so wherever you end up, we know it’ll be a weekend to treasure.
